Neurological disorders are any diseases that affect the brain, central nervous system and nerves. Symptoms can include paralysis, muscle weakness, seizures, pain, fatigue and memory loss. Of the more than 500 different types of neurological disorders, scientists at SDBRI focus on HIV-associated neurocognitive disorders and multiple sclerosis.
