Teach Science at SDBRI

Science fun for everyone! As part of our Teach Science program, community members were able to isolate DNA, run a gel and identify different types of human blood cells using a microscope. SDBRI’s ongoing Teach Science program aims to teach community members basic laboratory safety, use scientific equipment, conduct experiments, and discuss their findings.

Our research programs are funded primarily by grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Private donations help to accelerate the progress of research through the purchase of laboratory supplies and equipment or the recruitment of additional laboratory personnel. Thank you!
