“Teach Science” Goes to Casa de Mañana Retirement Community

SDBRI’s Teach Science program visited the Casa de Mañana Retirement Community, where participating residents learned basic lab safety, used scientific equipment, isolated plant DNA, worked alongside trained research staff, and discussed their experimental findings. Teach science is an ongoing program of the institute, bringing biomedical science and researchers into communities. Volunteers from BioLegend help staff the project.
